Duck on lookout - Phone Wallpaper

I don’t photograph a lot of wildlife, but when I do, I tend to shoot in a way that captures the animals environment vs an up close picture that most wildlife photographers do. Part of it has to do with me not wanting to conform to what others photographers do and part of it is because I want to tell a story with composition. This duck looked magnificent standing upon this swamp like tree! The original picture can be seen in my portfolio and I composed it in a way that makes the duck look like he’s on patrol and watching out for the other birds in the area.
