Delicate Arch at Night - Phone Wallpaper

Delicate Arch in Arches National Park is one of the most visited places in all National Parks.

On this night, I was with my family, all set up for a milky way shot, when a tourist decided to get up under the arch and shine a light (which is frowned upon in all National Parks). I’m not one to complain though, so I quickly adjusted my settings to expose for the scene that presented itself in front of me and this is what I captured.

This is the picture I keep on my iPhone. The time fits perfectly up top and it reminds me everyday that not everything goes the way you will expect it to go, but if you adapt to your situation, you may see beauty in the most unexpected places.
