Black Canyon Milky Way - Phone Wallpaper
The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, outside of Montrose Colorado, is a great place to view the Milky way without getting too far away from town! When photographing the Milk Way, I always look for a main subject to place in my foreground. That means, scouting earlier in the day and knowing where the Milky way is going to be later on that night. It also means, that the sky has to be clear and there is no moon light in sight. When all of these factors come together, then it’s time to take the picture. I always use a flash light off to the side to balance the light shown on the tree with the Milky way in the background. Yes, it’s all one shot and something I have loved perfecting over the years.!
I hope this Juniper tree in front of the Milky way provides you daily encouragement of how small we are in such a huge Universe.
Your download will be a High-Resolution (1880 × 3840) picture with no date or time stamp on it… just the picture!
Thank you for your support of my art.
