It’s pretty rare to see an Aspen tree all by itself, because they are one of the largest living organisms on the planet! This tree spreads and multiples underground, so when you see thousands of them together, they are more then likely connected under the Earth. I came across this lone tree in the middle of a field during a huge snow storm in Telluride Colorado. I’ve passed this tree many times before, but on this day it looked magical! I love the simplicity of it being all by itself.
