Photography Coaching Lesson:

As soon as I got to this area, I took a test shot and made sure all my settings were good to go. It’s the first thing I always do, even when taking pictures of families and such. You just never know when something is going to happen fast, so always prepare your camera ahead of time. The light was consistent everywhere, so I was in manual mode. If it would have been a bright sunny day, I would have been in aperture priority, to allow a fast transition between sunny and shady spots.
