Landscape Photographer - Joe Hendricks
Traveling full-time in an Airstream with my family,

Lowman After Session

It breaks my heart when I have a couple come to me and say they hired the wrong wedding photographer and got really bad pictures. My heart breaks even more when I find out, that I was one of the photographers they originally wanted, but they chose someone else. Last week I had the privilege of shooting an “After Session” for Nicholas and Elizabeth, to make up for the bad pictures they got from another photographer. Here are Elizabeth’s words:

“Unfortunately,  Joe was not our photographer on our wedding day.  The photographer we had was recommended, and with much naivety and blind trust on our part, we did not do enough research on his ability as a wedding photographer.  It was an extremely disappointing decision to know that some of the most precious memories of our special day would not be captured in photographs.  After much despair over feeling disappointed, we decided we needed to re-capture the moment the best we could.  We began searching for photographers and viewing their portfolios.  When we discovered Joe’s unique and beautiful photographs, we kept kicking ourselves thinking, “If only we had asked Joe to shoot our wedding!”  While we could not get the moments of the actual wedding day back with family and friends, we were hoping he could offer us something to “re-live” that day with pictures of the two of us. He was definitely an angel!  We set the date and time, headed out to Cheekwood and Joe made it happen… Joe rocks!  He gave us the opportunity to capture our love through his photographs.  We are so happy to now have pictures of a very special moment in our lives that we are proud to display in our home and at the office .  Joe’s talent, creativity and photographic skills are amazing.  He definitely has a passion for what he does, and we will forever be grateful for him giving us the opportunity to “re-live” the moment. We cannot thank him enough!” - Nicolas & Elizabeth

I was sad to hear their wedding pics weren’t good, but I was glad they wanted to do something about it! I had a blast with them and we got some awesome pictures!

I hope all couples reading this, take the time to find a photographer that is really good, consistent, and someone they get along with. I understand that price plays a huge part, but there’s no price that can make up for bad pictures on your wedding day. If you have any questions about After Sessions, email me at
